ev3 v. Boston Scientific
I represented ev3 in patent infringement counterclaims related to embolic protection devices for litigation against Boston Scientific
Boston Scientific, an industry juggernaut, sued ev3, a startup, alleging patent infringement as well as a host of business torts. I was responsible for evaluating Boston Scientific's infringement of ev3's patents. In particular, I led the process of developing the theory of infringement, charting infringement evidence, and claim construction briefing.
The case resolved shortly after the court issued its claim construction ruling which substantially favored ev3.
